In this tutorial:
  1. Scenario
  2. Underlying object
Required knowledge:

1. Scenario

You have created a report and the underlying object has changed. This could happen if you added a new field to the table or query on which the report was originally based.

Because the report is dynamically linked, or bound to the underlying object(s), this is not too much of a problem.

2. Underlying object

  1. Make the changes to the underlying object(s).
  2. Open the report in Design View.
  3. Report Design >> Add Existing Fields
  4. The fields of the underlying objects will appear in the panel that opens on the right of the interface.
  5. Left-click drag the field from the panel to the correct section of the report (most likely the Details section).
