In my opinion, Microsoft’s alt text generator is one of the more successful implementations of an AI-enabled software feature. The feature generates alt text (alternative text) for images in Word and PowerPoint.

Select View Alt Text…
The Alt Text panel opens
AI-generated text will appear here; edit as required
Select Approve alt text (or Mark as decorative) as appropriate
