I cannot tell you how many times I have seen people not create a slideshow to show an audience an album with a large number of photos because “it would take too much time to set the presentation up”.

Follow the steps in the slideshow below:

  • Using PowerPoint's Photo Album feature.
  • Options for PowerPoint's Photo Album feature.
  • Result from PowerPoint's Photo Album feature.
  1. Activate the Insert menu
  2. Select the Photo Album button
  3. Select the New photo Album option
  4. Left-click the File/Disk… button to browse to your folder of photos
  5. Select an image(s) from the folder
  6. Preview the current selected image
  7. Some basic editing options
  8. You can reorder selected image(s) using the up and down arrows
  9. You can Remove selected image(s)
  10. The Picture layout options include: Fit to slide, 1 picture, 2 pictures, 4 pictures, 1 picture with title, 2 pictures with title, 4 pictures with title
  11. Left-click the Create button
